Nursing visits are made by licensed
nursing professionals (Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses).
Individuals, families, and health care providers are encouraged to contact
the office to discuss RDNAs services. A physicians plan
of care is required for all services provided.
RDNA's services include:
- Medication pre-pours
- Blood draws
- Catheter changes
- Pre-draw insulin syringes
- Vital sign checks
- Pacemaker checks
- O2 checks
- Foot care
- TB testing
- Health assessments
- Public health/home instruction
Early on, RDNA determined not
to be Medicare/MaineCare licensed, nor set-up to accept insurance payments,
so as to remain flexible, efficient and responsive to the needs of those
who might otherwise fall through the cracks. RDNA does accept VA benefits.
Financial assistance is available, and all clients are asked to pay
towards the cost of their care.
