As an independent, local non-profit organization, RDNA has continuously provided non-acute, in-home nursing and community health services to residents of Rockland, Maine and surrounding midcoast Maine communities. We endeavor to care for residents regardless of ability to pay, in particular focusing on individuals who might otherwise not have access to care. Only through the generosity of our friends and neighbors is RDNA able to continue.
After more than 87 years, RDNA still draws on the vision of founding nurse, Eliza Steele, RN – a vision built on the strengths of community involvement, commitment and leadership. Through serving each other today, we ensure a healthier community for tomorrow.
